Who We Are

We are inDIG-Stories.

A space built with community, for young people.

We bring together educators, creatives, and community to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth to share their stories, connect to culture, and grow in confidence.

Everything we do is grounded in respect, for culture, for community, and for each young person’s voice.

This isn’t just a platform.

It’s a space where young people can be themselves, tell their stories their way, and feel proud of who they are.

What We Do

We create opportunities for young people to learn, create, and share — in ways that feel real, safe, and meaningful.

Storytelling & Creative Workshops

We support young people to find their voice and share their stories, through writing, video, voice, and creative expression.

Digital & Media Skills

We build real skills in digital spaces, helping young people step into tech, media, and creative pathways with confidence.

Community-Led Stories

We work alongside families, Elders, and schools to create stories that reflect local culture, identity, and lived experience.

Keeping Culture Strong

We support the sharing of appropriate stories in a safe way, helping young people stay connected to culture, community, and where they come from.

We pay our deepest respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their enduring spirits, and their profound legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors—our First Nations peoples—give strength, inspiration, and courage to current and future generations towards creating a brighter future for all.

At InDIG-Stories, we honour the rich cultural heritage and deep wisdom of the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and live. We acknowledge their continued connection to the land, waters, and community. We commit ourselves to a path of reconciliation, respect, and partnership with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
