Service Description

This workshop is a chance for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices to be seen, heard, and celebrated. Together, we’ll sit in circle—yarning, writing, and creating stories that reflect identity, culture, and experience. Students will learn how to shape their stories into powerful written pieces, then bring them to life through digital tools like video, voice, and visuals. Along the way, they’ll gain confidence in their own voice, learn how to pitch and share their stories safely and proudly, and explore how their creativity can open doors—whether it’s into digital storytelling, business, media, or community leadership. This isn’t just about learning new skills. It’s about nurturing pride, building connection, and walking alongside our young people as they step into their power. Because when our young mob tell their stories, they don’t just remember who they are they help shape who we can all become.

Proudly Supported by

We pay our deepest respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their enduring spirits, and their profound legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors—our First Nations peoples—give strength, inspiration, and courage to current and future generations towards creating a brighter future for all.

At InDIG-Stories, we honour the rich cultural heritage and deep wisdom of the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and live. We acknowledge their continued connection to the land, waters, and community. We commit ourselves to a path of reconciliation, respect, and partnership with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
