InDIG-Stories: Participating Schools

Walking Together: Our Participating Schools

At InDIG-Stories, we believe education is a powerful space for storytelling, identity and possibility. Our participating schools play a vital role in creating culturally safe environments where young people can explore who they are, where they come from, and who they are becoming.

By working alongside us, schools help nurture confidence, creativity and digital capability in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students — ensuring culture is honoured while future-ready skills are developed.

Together, we create learning experiences grounded in respect, collaboration and care. Stories are not simply shared — they are valued. Culture is not an add-on — it is central.

When schools and community walk side by side, we don’t just deliver programs — we strengthen identity, connection and opportunity for the next generation.

We pay our deepest respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ancestors of this land, their enduring spirits, and their profound legacy. The foundations laid by these ancestors—our First Nations peoples—give strength, inspiration, and courage to current and future generations towards creating a brighter future for all.

At InDIG-Stories, we honour the rich cultural heritage and deep wisdom of the Traditional Owners of the lands on which we work and live. We acknowledge their continued connection to the land, waters, and community. We commit ourselves to a path of reconciliation, respect, and partnership with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
